Storm damage delays gate opening for Northern Trust

Some spectators at the Northern Trust golf tournament say they feel like they were left in the rough this morning.
Fans wanted to get in early to see the players tee off, but Wednesday night's severe weather delayed the gates' opening.

The players teed off as scheduled at 7:15 a.m., but fans didn't get on the course until 10 a.m.

There was some damage done at the Liberty National course cosmetically because of the storms that swept through. The tournament director said they wanted everyone to be safe and enjoy the day.
But many people upset took to social media over not getting to see their favorite players, like Tiger Woods, tee off.
Others, however, were simply worried about slipping and falling in the mud.
