Nordstrom held a job fair as it seeks to hire 280 workers for a Norwalk location.

The store will be located in Norwalk's new mall, SoNo Collection, which is still under construction.

Nordstrom says it is looking for sales associates, stylists, security personnel and other positions.

"We are looking to talk to anyone and everyone that wants to grow in the retail business," says Molly Carmody, of Nordstrom SoNo Collection. "We are looking for people that are customer-obsessed and really focused on servicing customers and people."

The store is scheduled to open Oct. 11.
