A Norwalk woman is accused of removing her bathing suit bottoms and exposing herself in front of a child after a beachgoer's complaints.
Anna Lee Halderman, 28, was charged with risk of injury to a minor and breach of peace after the July 18 incident at Compo Beach in Westport.
Police say a caller reported to officers that she had observed Halderman remove her bathing suite top to tan on the beach.
Halderman was approached by the woman who asked her to cover up because she was with her child.
However, police say Halderman became belligerent and removed her bathing suit bottoms to expose her rear to the woman and her child.
The woman who complained also told police Halderman appeared to be drunk.
Halderman was issued a warrant and turned herself in to police on August 17.
She later told police that she did not recall what she may have done that day but apologized for her behavior.
