Car catches fire at I-95 rest stop in Fairfield

A man who just stopped off to get a cup of coffee at an I-95 rest area Thursday is without a vehicle after his car suddenly caught fire.

Car catches fire at I-95 rest stop in Fairfield
A man who just stopped off to get a cup of coffee at an I-95 rest area Thursday is without a vehicle after his car suddenly caught fire. 
It happened at the exit 22 northbound rest area around 4:40 a.m.
Officials say the driver of the car was headed back home to Maine when he stopped at the rest area for a cup of coffee.
However, when he came back outside he saw that his car had caught fire.
Officials arrived on scene and the fire was quickly put out in about 10 minutes.
The fire was near the engine compartment.
