Coleytown students to attend Bedford Middle School during mold remediation

Coleytown Middle School students in Westport will learn at Bedford Middle School this year while their school undergoes mold remediation.

Officials says the district is leasing six portable classrooms to accommodate the increase of students

Officials say it will cost $32 million to remediate Coleytown Middle School after mold was discovered inside of the building last year.

Westport Superintendent Anthony Buono says the transition into Bedford Middle School was smooth due to the help of staff at the school.

The school is expected to reopen next year.
