A Norwalk day care is closing its doors and parents say they were only given four-weeks notice.

Children's Corner Learning Center on Connecitcut Avenue will shut its doors on Sept. 30.

Parents say they received a letter in the mail informing them of the closure but that it provided no explanataion.

The day care has been open for seven years and had several other locations in Connecticut, including a Stamford location that closed in a similar fashion two years ago.

At least 80 children are enrolled at the day care and 30 employees will be laid off.

News 12 reached out to the corporate office of the day care and are waiting to hear back.
