CT's last Kmart to shut down by end of 2019

Posted: Updated:

Connecticut's last remaining Kmart store will shut down at the end of this year, the company says.

Liquidation sales are expected to begin at the Watertown Kmart on Straits Turnpike in a couple of weeks. The chain's new parent company recently announced 26 Sears and Kmart closings across the country.

The Kmart in Milford closed last year and the one in Southbury closed  in 2017.
