Police: Man thrown into van, robbed in Bridgeport

Police say a man was thrown into a van and robbed in Bridgeport Friday morning.

They say the victim told them he was walking along East Main Street around 1 a.m. when three men jumped out of a white van and forced him inside.

The man says the suspects stole two gold chains, two gold bracelets and a gold ring before throwing him out of the van at the corner of Shelton and Helen streets.

The victim was not hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police.
