Police: 3 injured in 3 early morning shootings in Bridgeport

Posted: Updated:

Police say three people were injured in three shootings that happened early Saturday morning in Bridgeport.

The shootings happened between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.

They say the first male victim, who is believed to have been shot on Beechwood Avenue, is not cooperating with police.

Police say the second male victim was intubated and detectives were not able to speak to him. They say they are still determining where he was shot.

The third male was shot on Reservoir Avenue and officials say he told them he was struck by gunfire from a vehicle that drove by and fired shots.

Officials say all three shooting victims are expected to survive their injuries.

There is no word if the shootings are related.
