4-year-old recovers from multi-story fall outside Bridgeport home

Posted: Updated:

The grandmother of a 4-year-old boy who fell from a third-story window in Bridgeport shared a photo of the child recovering from his injuries.

Tina Williams shared the picture of Alex with News 12, and says he's getting better every day but DCF is still threatening to take the kids away.

Williams says her family is looking to move out of that apartment and find more suitable housing.

As News 12 reported, Alex fell from his apartment window on Stratford Avenue on Labor Day after police says the boy's 14-year-old brother fell asleep while watching him.

Alex suffered severe face injuries, but is expected to make a full recovery.
