Officials: Several injured in deck collapse in Summit

Several people were injured when a deck collapsed in Summit Sunday.
News 12 is told there was an 85th birthday party going on at 67 Tanglewood Drive at the time. A few of the partygoers were gathering on the deck to take a picture when it collapsed.
The battalion chief says they were called to the home at about 2:30 p.m.
Five people suffered relatively minor injuries and two were taken to Overlook Medical Center in Summit.
Officials say it's an older, wooden, detached deck about 30-feet long by about 10-feet deep, with a set of stairs. It broke in a corner when everyone got together to take a picture. One person said it felt like a small earthquake.
The partygoers decided to continue with the party. They say they will take the picture again -- just off of the deck.
