A coach bus went off of the road in Danbury closing a street on Monday, officials say.

The incident happend on West Redding Road near East Starrs Plain Road, officials wrote in a Facebook post. 

Danbury firefighters and police responded to the scene where the large coach bus went off the road.

Danbury Hospital EMS staff evaluated the driver of the bus at the scene but they were not injured.

Officials say West Redding Road will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
