Bridgeport PD: Woman conspired to have her husband fatally shot

Police say a Bridgeport woman turned herself in for allegedly conspiring to murder her husband, who was shot to death in July.
Larise King, 35, surrendered to police shortly after midnight in connection with the alleged murder of DaeDae Gray, 32, who police say was shot to death in the early morning hours of July 27.
Neighbor Ervin Kenio says he heard the gunfire and came running out of his house on Newfield Avenue. He found Gray bleeding on the ground.
“It was a shocker, I was really shocked,” he says. “I'm glad that justice is being served."
Police say Gray was struck multiple times and pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital.
Police say an extensive investigation revealed that King conspired to have somebody else kill her husband.
The exact circumstances leading up the shooting are still unclear, though witnesses say King was seen arguing with her husband in the hours leading up to his death.
King is being held on $1 million bond. Police are expecting more arrests in this case.
