Residents soak up what's left of summer at Cove Island Park

Stamford residents enjoyed the last weekend of summer at Cove Island Park.
People flocked to the park to enjoy a variety of activities, including scenic walking trails.
Although the weather may soon be changing, parkgoers say it continues to be a great place to enjoy nature.
"It's just a wonderful place," said Richard Beardsley of Stamford. "We hang out here all the time. It doesn't matter what season, we're here."
