First day of fall sees 80-degree weather

Temperatures will be in the 80s on the first day of fall today, News 12 meteorologists say.

It will be mostly sunny today, with a high near 83 degrees.

Tonight there will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m.

It will be cloudy overnight, then gradually clear toward daybreak, with a low around 66 degrees.
