Fred Gerteiny is a two-time Emmy-nominated sports anchor at News 12 Connecticut. He began his broadcasting career at WTNH-TV in New Haven as a sports producer, then became a feature reporter at VNN, the Villages News Network in the Villages, Florida.Fred loves to play all sports, especially golf, is a lifelong Mets, Steelers, Rangers and Knicks fan, and a big-time dog lover.
