The town of ‘Hauntington’ is gearing up for the spooky season.

Huntington officials have announced a temporary name change as well as a guided tour of the town's Halloween history.

They're opening up some eerie archives about crimes and mysteries that haunt the town.

Huntington was ceremoniously renamed Hauntington for Halloween last year at the suggestion of a 7-year-old resident who wrote a letter to officials.
