'Wings of Freedom' B-17 tour canceled in wake of deadly crash

The Collings Foundation is suspending its "Wings of Freedom Tour" for the rest of the year following this week's deadly plane crash.

The Collings Foundation is suspending its "Wings of Freedom Tour" for the rest of the year following this week's deadly plane crash.
As News 12 has reported, a vintage B-17 bomber crashed on a runway at Bradley International Airport this week when its engine failed.
Seven of the 13 people on board were killed.
The bomber was a part of the Wings of Freedom tour group.
The Collings Foundation releasing a statement saying, "In the wake of a tragic accident involving our B-17... We are in the process of issuing refunds for those who had reserved flights through December."
The NTSB is investigating what caused the crash.
