Police: Car goes up in flames after crashing into retaining wall near house

Several people were hospitalized following a serious crash in Monroe Saturday night.

It happened around 10:45 p.m.

Police say a car with four people inside left the roadway, struck the side of a house, then fell off a retaining wall into the driveway below.

When firefighters arrived, the car was fully engulfed in flames.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
