Danbury's Charter Oak Brewing is committed to complex flavors and clean finishes. Founder Scott Vallely says it's important to keep the process as efficient as possible and the batches just as large as they need to be, so his beer gets to you as fresh as possible.

You can find Charter Oak's four flagship brews in stores all over the state, but Scott says the taproom is where he gets to play. "All of our recipes are obviously original, and it's just fun to see somebody sitting back enjoying it."
