French automaker Renault is doubling down on hydrogen fuel cell technology. Renault will sell a delivery van known as the Kangoo, joining Toyota and Hyundai in sticking with that technology over battery-powered EVs. Fuels cells, when they work, offer three times the driving range and can be recharged in minutes.
Under Armour's current COO Patrick Frisk will replace Kevin Plank as CEO next year, formalizing a transition plan that comes as the brand executes a three-year plan to boost North American sales. Plank, who started the brand in his grandmother's basement and grew it into a company worth $9 billion, will stay on as brand chief.
The world's biggest credit card networks are joining forces to make it easier to enter your card info for online purchases. The group, which includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, wants to reduce "credit card abandonment," caused when people shop online, but don't complete the order because re-entering credit card info is too much trouble.
