A teen fell from a ladder while attempting to climb a school's roof in Bridgeport, police say.

The incident happened Thursday at the Tisdale School around 6 p.m.

Police say the 14-year-old was playing on the school's playground when he found the ladder that accessed the school's roof.

They say the teen attempted to climb the ladder but fell 12 feet.

Police say the ladder also fell on the teen once he hit the ground.

He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. His condition is not known.
