Darien friends create haunted maze for Halloween

Posted: Updated:

Halloween is just a few nights away, and people who love the holiday are putting the finishing touches on their decorations.

Three friends in Darien tell News 12 they are dedicated to making this the best Halloween ever.

As a child, Eric Stearns decorated his basement for Halloween. Over the years, the display spread out onto the yard. This year, he and his friends teamed up to build their own haunted maze.

Trick-or-treaters will really have something to remember when they stop by 5 Oak Crest - a mysterious structure now sits in the front yard filled with smoke and surprises. The hope is that hundreds of people will stop by to take in the show.
