Tractor trailer spills 50 gallons of fuel at I-95 rest stop

A tractor trailer leaked 50 gallons of diesel fuel at the I-95 northbound rest stop in Fairfield, officials say.

A tractor trailer leaked 50 gallons of diesel fuel at the I-95 northbound rest stop in Fairfield, officials say.
The incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. at the Northbound rest area in Fairfield off I-95. 
Officials say the tractor trailer’s saddle tank ripped after the driver hit one of these yellow bollards near the air dock.
Fire officials responded to the scene and the leak was contained but there’s still cleanup that needs to be done.
 
Firefighters put speedy dry down to prevent any more from spilling into nearby storm drains.
The remaining fuel was caught in a container. 
State Police also responded to the scene.
The driver was not injured and the rest stop is not affected 
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was also notified.
