Preview of concerts coming to Connecticut, tri-state

As October takes its final bow, let's take a look at what November has in store for live music in the area.
Fans can catch the "Wicked Divas" at Ridgefield Playhouse Saturday, Nov. 2. Alli Mauzy and Dee Roscioli from Broadway's "Wicked" take the stage to perform some songs from that show and other musical theatre favorites.
For those classic rock lovers, catch the Marshall Tucker Band at Stamford's Palace Theatre this Friday, Nov. 1.
Later this month, the Palace will get the holiday season started with A Carpenters Christmas, where singer Lisa Rock performs some of the Carpenters' classic Christmas hits.
In New Haven, College Street Music Hall has some exciting shows coming up this month, with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong bringing the funk this Saturday, Nov. 2. and singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco the following Friday, Nov. 8.
Indie rock juggernaut Liz Phair will also be there on Saturday, Nov. 16.
