Early morning wind chills on Long Island could feel as low as 8 degrees, with the day's high only reaching the lower-30s, which would also break the record of 39 degrees.

Expect sunny skies, but winds factoring into the cold of up to 30 mph.

Tonight, the winds will die down, but the cold will stay. Lows are expected to be in the lower-20s.

Things will warm up a bit to finish off the work week. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper-40s, while Friday will be sunny with highs around 50.
