Police in Stamford say two months of investigation led them to a major drug bust over the weekend and a dealer with a wide ranging inventory.
They say they arrested Ryan Cruz Friday. Detectives say he had been using the internet to attract customers from around Fairfield County who wanted specialized cannabis.
They also found potent marijuana wax and a variety of edibles, including some candy.
Police say 30.5 pounds of drugs were found with a street value in the six figures.
"Really it is a connoisseur type of market," said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin. "People want specific strains and brands of marijuana, and this guy had several different types of very high level marijuana."
Officers say Cruz has been arrested before on drugs and weapons charges.
Police say they took Cruz into custody at in his apartment on Spruce Street while his mom was visiting from out of town.
Police say they found some of the drugs hidden in a tool kit and the box for a flat screen television.
