Shots were fired at a vehicle on the corner of Nichols Avenue and Fulton Street early Thursday morning.
News 12 is told it happened around 1:30 a.m. and that a man was taken into custody shortly after for menacing at a deli.
Police say the person in custody got into an argument with workers at the bodega, saying he was going to "shoot the place up."
It is not clear if it is the same person who shot at least two rounds at an unoccupied vehicle.
Reports initially say there was concern that whoever pulled the trigger was shooting at police who were in a marked vehicle near the scene. However, police say that does not appear to be the case. The black SUV's back window was shattered, and another cars tire was punctured.
Juan Pinero is the owner of the car that's tire was shot. He says he came out Thursday morning to go to work and saw his car was surrounded by police officers.
No one was hurt.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
