Off-duty NYPD officer killed in NYC crash

An off-duty NYPD officer was killed and two others were injured in a crash early Saturday morning in Manhattan.
It happened around 2:30 a.m.
Sources identified the officer as 25-year-old Garman Chen. They say he was speeding on the FDR Drive when he crashed into the median.
Chen had servd with the departmen for under five years.
Two passengers were ejected from the car and seriously injured. They were taken to Bellevue Hospital.
They have been identified as Amanda Remy and Kenneth Larken, who is an FDNY firefighter.
The passengers, both age 25, were expected to survive.
