Judge orders Michelle Troconis to answer questions in Dulos civil lawsuit

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut judge has ruled that a woman under investigation in connection with the disappearance of a mother of five must answer 18 questions in a deposition of a lawsuit.
Michelle Troconis pleaded the Fifth Amendment in September to all but two questions per her lawyer’s advice because of an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos, of New Canaan.
Troconis’ lawyer, Andrew Bowman, says his client faces the risk of additional charges from the ongoing investigation.
The Hartford Courant reports attorney Richard Weinstein, representing Jennifer Dulos’ mother, filed a motion resulting in Judge Cesar Noble requiring Troconis this week to answer some questions from the deposition.
Noble says Troconis can assert her Fifth Amendment rights in certain scenarios, such as any question relating to her relationship with Fotis Dulos.
