Western Connecticut braces for impacts from winter storm
The first major winter storm of the season is coming Sunday into Monday, and Connecticut residents are preparing.
Crates of deliveries arrived at Hemlock Hardware in Fairfield Saturday for residents to stock up on before the storm.

Hemlock Hardware co-owner Scott Pesavento says products with sodium chloride or potassium chloride will harm concrete, brick, slate and wood.
He also says it will harm the environment, kill grass and hurt pets’ paws.
