The wintry mix Monday meant that many students heard their dismissal bells early.
Students at St. Ann Academy in Bridgeport got out of school at 11:30 a.m.
Next door, Black Rock School had a 12:50 p.m. dismissal, along with Geraldine Claytor Magnet Academy down the road.
Some parents News 12 spoke to say they had to leave work early to pick up their kids, but said they were happy to stay inside with their families Monday afternoon.
The parents said they worried that an early start to snow days could mean even more in their future.
