Shoppers jump on hottest deals in electronics on Cyber Monday

With the weather outside looking quite frightful, some online shopping on Cyber Monday might be in order.

The best deals and hottest sellers this year are among toys, video games and electronics.

Fairfield University analyst Mousumi Bose Godbole said the deals are more aggressive this year because a late Thanksgiving means an unusually short shopping season.

Mobile customers had already spent $11 billion before Cyber Monday.

"I'm actively scoping Amazon throughout the day to see if we can fulfill some of Santa promises that are going on," said David Cahill, of Norwalk.
