Peloton responds to backlash it received over holiday ad

Peloton is responding to backlash it received over its recent holiday ad. The ad depicted a husband gifting his wife a Peloton for Christmas and was meant to celebrate fitness and wellness. Social media users said it was sexist and classist. Peloton responded to the backlash saying it was "disappointed" its holiday commercial had been misinterpreted.

Tik Tok’s parent company Bytedance is being sued for allegedly violating child privacy laws as well as collecting data of its young users. The children's online privacy protection act forbids social media companies from collecting children's data without parental consent.

PG&E is close to finalizing a deal for $13.5 billion to those affected by wildfires the company caused. This part of efforts to save the company from bankruptcy, as well as recover its reputation. The company said it was  "committed to satisfying all wildfire claims in full."
