Police: 2 men injured in hit-and-run in a Westbury parking lot

Police in Nassau are searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck two men in a Westbury parking lot, leaving one of them with serious internal injuries.
The incident happened on the north side of the train tracks on Post Avenue in Westbury around 2 a.m. Friday. Police say two men were at the Super Convenience store when they were struck by a car that then drove away.
Nirmala Choudry works at the store and watched surveillance video of the incident. Chaudry says the video shows that when the men left the store they got into an argument in the parking lot with someone in a white car. She says the driver backed up and hit the men.

Police say a 43-year-old man suffered severe internal injuries and the other victim, age 37, suffered a head trauma.
Witnesses say the victims were hit by a four-door white sedan that fled the scene.
Police are reviewing the surveillance footage from the convenience store. They are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
