Police: 3 pedestrians hit by vehicles in separate incidents within 20 minutes of each other

Police say three pedestrians were struck by cars in separate incidents within 20 minutes of each other Friday night, and one of the victims has died.
A woman was struck and killed by a Chevy Tahoe going eastbound in Massapequa Park, police say. It happened while she trying to cross Sunrise Highway at Carol Drive around 10:50 p.m.
The woman, who has not been identified by police, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say a man was crossing Washington Avenue at the corner of Heyward Street when he was hit by a Toyota Camry in Brentwood. It happened just 17 minutes before the Massapequa Park crash.
They have also not identified that victim. He was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with serious injuries.
Police say a third accident happened in Huntington Station. They say a 19-year-old exchange student from Korea was walking in the middle of the road on East Pulaski Road when he was hit by a Dodge Sedan around 10:40 p.m.
He was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police say in all three cases, the drivers stayed on the scene. No charges have been filed in any of the incidents so far.
Anyone with information on any of the crashes is asked to contact police.
