Nathan Hale Middle School in Norwalk was evacuated this afternoon due to an odor caused by construction outside of the building.

Students and staff were taken by bus to Norwalk High School to dismiss at their normal time of 2:50 p.m.

The school was evacuated out of an abundance of caution.
