Bridgeport family searches for therapy dog they say was taken by pizza delivery driver

Posted: Updated:

The Rodriguez family in Bridgeport says their 11-month-old puppy Milani was taken by a pizza delivery driver two days before Christmas.

Lizette Rodriguez says her 10-year-old son ordered a pizza from Dominos on Monday. Rodriguez claims the delivery driver grabbed Milani, placed the animal in the vehicle and drove off.

Rodriquez says her 10-year-old son has special needs and that Milani was his therapy dog.

The family has filed a report with the Bridgeport Police Department.

Rodriguez says the family is not pressing any charges.

Anyone who may have seen Milani is encouraged to call Bridgeport police.
