Crews knock down abandoned Bridgeport home

Bridgeport residents are celebrating the demolition of an abandoned home on Revere Street.
Crews completed knocking down the house, which had become an eyesore located across from the Newfield Library.
The city condemned the property after its owners abandoned the house and allowed the roof to collapse.
Police say it was also a magnet for crime in the area.
The city says the property will be fenced off for now and eventually put up for sale.
