It has been a wet Tuesday across southwestern Connecticut, and an icy one for areas in Litchfield County.

An ice storm warning has been issued for northern Litchfield County and a winter weather advisory has been issued for southern Litchfield. Both extend through early Tuesday morning.

The rain will gradually taper off late Tuesday to just a few scattered showers, but with temperatures remaining at or below freezing, icing issues such as power outages and slippery travel will remain problems overnight.
