A different kind of end of the year celebration took place in Norwalk, where a local church gave people the chance to start 2020 with a clean slate.

St. Paul's Church on the Green invited people to write down habits, thoughts or feelings they want to leave behind, and drop them into the fire pit known as "the burning bowl."

Organizers say it's a great way to let go of the past.
