A man escaped from a car just before it was hit by a commuter train in Connecticut on Saturday.

A restaurant owner helped a man escape his car - moments before a train crashed into it.

It happened Saturday night in Redding.

Tom Costanzo says the driver got stuck while turning into his restaurant's driveway.

Costanzo says the driver got out after the train crossing arms came down.

The train then collided into the car.  No one was injured in the crash.
