Moviegoers say they're frustrated after a rash of car break-ins at Fairfield Cinemas.
What started out as a fun New Year's Day at the movies for Catherine Urbain and her 8-year-old goddaughter ended with a big headache.
Police say she was just one of several patrons who had their cars broken into inside the parking garage at Fairfield Cinemas.
According to police, it's happened 12 times in less than a week.
Police say the parking garage has no security cameras.
They want to make sure moviegoers take their belongings with them after locking up. They also have stepped up patrols there.
Showcase Cinemas says BJ's Wholesale Club next door manages the parking lot.
News 12 has reached out to BJ's for comment but has not yet heard back.
