Police say a Trumbull man is accused of leaving the scene of two car accidents on the same day.

Easton police say 20-year-old Zachary Simnna got into an accident at the intersection of Routes 138 and 58 around 7 p.m. Friday night.

They say he drove away from the accident and promptly struck two trees nearby.

Police say Simnna then ran from the scene of that crash, but was later tracked to his home.

News 12 is told officers found a small amount of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia in his car.

Officials say he is free on bond.
