Man in critical condition after hit-and-run in Winchester

A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run in Winchester.

Police received the 911 call from a passing motorist just before 8 p.m. Friday.

The man was found in the eastbound lanes of Main Street at the intersection of Union Street.

The man has been identified as 30-year-old Anthony Menard. He was transported to the hospital where officials say he is expected to survive.

The suspected vehicle is believed to have damage to right front fender and windshield.

Anyone with information is asked to call Winchester police.
