Long Island gets ready for Saturday’s snow

As News 12 predicts 1-3 inches of snow on Saturday, some Long Islanders say they’re ready for it.
“I don’t think it’s going to be as bad,” said Trish Sparacio of Commack. “I just think you just got to be careful tomorrow that’s all.”
It is expected to begin snowing around lunch time through 6 p.m. The snow should then change to rain afterwards.
The North Shore could see higher amounts of snow then the rest of Long Island.
