Gov. Ned Lamont and the Prevention Partnership co-hosted a mentoring summit with Family Re-Entry of Bridgeport and People's United Bank.        
Mentors shared their experiences working with young people.
One mentor says she loves working with her mentee and helping improve her life.
Earlier this month, Gov. Lamont proclaimed January as Connecticut Mentoring Month.
