Police say four men face charges in Westport for stealing nearly $7,000 worth of cellphones from a T-Mobile store Sunday.
Javon Roberts, 19, and Raymond Enriquez, 32, were arrested, along with two 17-year-olds. They were all caught in Stamford.
Police say other stores in different areas alerted one another about three similar burglaries earlier in the day, with similar descriptions.
"These guys were pretty bold with what they did," said Lt. Anthony Prezioso of the Westport Police Department. "They just entered the store with an agenda right away, and went right to the display cases, and started ripping out merchandise, which probably caught everyone in the store off-guard."
At least one of the suspects was wearing a mask, according to police. They say the three suspects got away in a car they believe Enriquez was driving.
Roberts was arraigned in Norwalk Monday with bond set at $10,000.
Police are investigating if the other burglaries are connected.
