Kickboxing is usually a mix of boxing and karate.

Benefits include reducing stress and boosting confidence and energy levels

The founder of Westport Boxing & Calasanz Martial Arts says the sport provides a quick but effective workout.

Calasanz Martinez says he first saw kick boxing becoming popular back in 2006 and says the sport, along with boxing, continues to grow in popularity.
