Company recalls around 14,000 infant carriers because of fall hazard

Posted: Updated:

Infantino has recalled around 14,000 popular infant carriers because the buckles on the carriers can break, posing a fall hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall involves Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic, Flip Front2back and Up Close Newborn infant carriers.

The carriers come in a black body and black strap, or a gray body and black strap styles.

The products were sold at Target and other stores nationwide, and online at Amazon.com from Nov. 2019 through Dec. 2019 for between $30 and $50.

Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled infant carriers and contact Infantino for a free replacement.

No injuries have been reported.
